A rare breed. Loyal, blunt, and full of heart.
Louie was a 2020 graduate of Spring-Ford High School and a dedicated athlete who placed 8th at the PIAA state wrestling championships. Beyond the mat, Louie had a passion for helping others, especially children with special needs.
He worked with special needs students during high school and planned to study special education at Kutztown University. Tragically, his journey was cut short on August 17, 2020.

Our Mission
Louie had a dream: to make a difference in children’s lives.
The Louie Strong Fundraiser was created to continue his legacy of kindness and support. The fundraiser supports Louie Strong Scholarships at Spring-Ford High School, special needs programs throughout the district, and families in need throughout the community.

A Mother’s Promise
Continuing the work he never got the chance to finish.
Louie loved his family and friends fiercely, but his bond with his mother was unbreakable. In honor of her son’s dreams, Laura has committed to carrying on his legacy by pursuing a degree in psychology so she can help families and children in need, just as Louie wanted to do.

“Today was the first Louie Strong Fundraiser I had since the death of my son. It was a great turnout and lots of support from family and friends. The money raised is for the scholarships in Louie’s name. I want to thank everyone for their support and generous donations and taking the time to help me with this. Big thank you to Mark Petrucelli, who helped me organize and get the ball rolling, thank you. Thank you to all the kids who participated in the push-ups for Louie and the adults as well. I’m very blessed and grateful for everyone who took time out of their lives to show support for this event. My Louie, you were loved by many and seeing people gather, coming together to help raise funds shows how truly blessed and grateful we are. We came together for a great cause to raise money for scholarships and I’m so grateful and thankful for the people who helped me organize this. It’s a team effort and we did this together.
